ABOUT ME
Hi, I’m Jamielah — lover, mama bear, sister, dreamer, advocate, forever student, story collector, and founder of Jah Collective.
For nearly a decade, I’ve been in BigLaw—finding my footing, learning how to think, advocate, and move through complex spaces, all while navigating the beautiful, chaotic rhythms of life and motherhood.
As a proud Black woman, mother to a bright and curious toddler (Jahmil), and partner to my forever love (John), I’ve spent years trying to hold ambition and intention at the same time—figuring out what it means to succeed without losing myself in the process.
Somewhere along the way, I realized I wanted more space—to live fully, move freely, and define things on my own terms.
Jah Collective grew out of that desire. It’s my digital home and living archive—where I’m documenting what I’m learning, building, and becoming, in real time.
And as this space has grown, so has the work—creating opportunities to support others navigating similar questions, in their own way.
